Had my sister and her husband here and made my famous applewood smoked turkey, stuffed with oranges (for flavor) that is smoked for about an hour and then finished in the oven, injected with butter and vermouth and basted with the same. Simply AMAZING! Perfectly cooked and juicy- not a dry piece on the platter. Thanks to hubby for the wonderful carving job!
Also served cornbread stuffing and oyster stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans sauteed in shallot butter.
Served with Fidelitas Merlot and Iron Horse Chardonnay.

Dessert was a cherry pie and a pumpkin pie... and my sister enjoyed a 95 pound "lapdog" when Bailey decided to watch a little TV with her.

A good time was had by all!
